Join us for this innovative & informative training to develop greater military cultural competence and increased understanding of the effects of combat stress exposure.
Be prepared to provide effective and attuned outpatient clinical services to veterans and their families. Participants will learn about military culture, phases of deployment, and the effects of combat stress exposure. Video examples of client sessions will demonstrate effective clinical application to each of the eight phases of the Standard EMDR Protocol.
The presentation features EMDRIA Trainer, Approved Consultant and VA Clinician Ted Olejnik, LICSW, USAF (Ret) along with Mark Nickerson, LICSW, author of The Wounds Within: A Veteran, A PTSD Therapist, and A Nation Unprepared.
